Tom Brady in early morning Car Accident
“New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was in a car accident Thursday morning, Boston.com confirms, however, he did not receive medical treatment and continued on his way to work.
Boston Fire Department spokesman Steve MacDonald said that “a sedan and a passenger van collided around 6:34 am at Commonwealth Avenue and Gloucester Street” in Boston’s Back Bay section.
The driver of the sedan, said to be Brady, was able to get out of the car and was walking around after the crash. In the passenger van, a man riding in the back seat was knocked unconscious and was removed with the Jaws of Life before being transported to a local hospital.
The Patriots are gearing up for their season opener Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Earlier this week it was announced that Brady and the Patriots were discussing a four-year contract extension that would ultimately earn the star quarterback between $72 million and $80 million – or approximately $20 million per season.”
