Some life has come to Sprint’s online store. They have now put not one but two WiMAX ready Android smartphones on its online store. One is HTC EVO 4G and the other is Samsung Epic 4G. The EVO 4G was out of job for few days because of lack of supply and is back to save the Sprint and the other one Samsung Epic 4G has recently been recruited and has some high hopes to fulfill.
But still the Evo HTC is facing the same old problem, lack of supply so go grab it while you still can. Don’t know whether they will have enough HTC Desire HD or not to meet the demands when they will hit the market.
Whereas the Samsung has just joined in, launched today, and from their previous reputation it does not seem that Samsung will be facing the supply issue as they have sold 1 million units to USA and giving away the same to South Korea. And not only that the Samsung Galaxy was launched in multiple markets and didn’t have any stock issues.
So which one is better? Well to make it simpler Sprint has already put a comparison video on its site, which was a little prejudiced towards Samsung Epic 4G. But in real it’s pretty hard to select from either of the two.

The Blackberry Curve 9300 is a good looking smartphone. It has the distinctive format that a Blackberry usually displays with the over and under screen and keyboard. The size is just right for a pocket. It is 4.29 inches tall and .55 inch thick. It comes in two colors, black and red. Overall, this is a small smartphone with plenty of work it can do.

Looking inside first we find the Blackberry Curve 9300 is running the newly redesigned OS 6 operating system from Research In Motion. This is the one with the superior web browser from Webkit. The new OS 6 operating system on the Curve 9300 has the features that past users of Blackberrys were wanting.

It is backwards-compatible with older Wi-Fi systems. It also has GPRS, stereo Bluetooth, EDGE, HSDPA and the aforementioned web browser. The voice networks that the 9300 can connect to are quad band 2G and tri band 3G networks. All in all, you can find just about everything but the new WiMaX system and a radio on this smartphone.

In the camera section you may feel a little bit left out. The camera sports a weak two megapixel camera. For a positve point about the graphical abilities of the Blackberry Curve 9300, the camera can provide video. This is not a high dollar item, so it is expected that some areas of the 9300 would be less than amiable.

Java is included on the Curve 9300. This allows downloading and playing games. This model also has an MP3 player for music, an MP4 player for video, an organizer and voice dial. Internally a user has 256 megabytes of memory that can be expanded up to 32 gigabytes with the MicroSD card slot. The people at Research in Motion graciously provide a two gigabyte card with the Blackberry Curve 9300 for free.

The screen is a run-of-the-mill variety with 240 by 320 pixels of resolution. It is not the newer AMOLED technology. It is the older LCD style. It is 2.46 inches in size. No one expects much from a screen of this quality, but again, this is not a high ticket item. The keyboard is a regular QWERTY with raised buttons that makes the Blackberry one of the most popular texting smartphones in the world.

Although the Blackberry Curve 9300 has a fairly large battery ( 1150 mAh ) it only provides four and a half to five and a half hours of talk time. The memory is a bit lacking, since it was expected to come out with 512 megabytes of memory. When looking at the contract price, $79.99, it is somewhat of a reasonable deal. But this is not the limit, Sprint is also mulling over to have 4G running in Los Angeles, New York and Miami at the end of this year.

But according to the Wall Street Journal Sprint is unable to meet the rising demand for HTC Evo 4G, every company’s demand is to make its product a hit among the masses but it is shabby well the company is unable to supply its product  according to the demand. People cannot wait for weeks for something they want desperately and will eventually move on to something else with few exemptions.

The very same problem was found with the HTC’s Droid Incredible, more demand and less supply, so those who are to buy HTC Evo 4G will either have to keep stuck to Sprint’s website or move on to something else.

Besides Evo 4G Sprint does have few 4G devices up sleeves but they are not that fascinating and captivating as Evo 4G and also for people it won’t be price worth paying other than Evo 4G.

The most highly awaited and anticipated Apple’s iPhone 4 white, and yet the release date of that has been delayed.
