George Blanda a Legend
Sports Monday, September 27th, 2010On Monday, George Blanda died at the age of 83. He was a very famous football player and had been playing football for a very long time. He had seven touchdown passes and he tied with four other football players. George Blanda is a legend to the game of football and will always be remembered as a legend.
He was a placekicker, and a Professional football quarterback. He has played the most in football history which is another reason as to why he is a legend. He has earned the title. He married Betty Harris and was in love with her until the day that he died. They had two children. Outside of football he had a very happy and successful life with his family.
A few of the other things he has accomplished in football include scoring the most points during a season being 26, so far he is the oldest one in football history to play in any NFL game, so it goes without saying he is the one that has scored the most points during the football career. He will be loved and missed by my fans. In the Sporting News Blanda was ranked number 98 out of the top 100 all time greatest football players.
