6 killed in Florida in a murder suicide scene
Headlines Monday, September 27th, 2010The Riviera Beach in Florida has experienced some serious shooting, as a man shot himself, after he killed his estranged wife and four of his children.
Though the place is a hub of regular shooting and neighbours normally do not want to know who has shot whom.
That was the reason many of the neighbours never knew of the killings till the morning newspapers flashed the killings at the Riviera Beach.
Sources say that killings have a trail of a possible murder-suicide scene, as a man who is said to be estranged with his wife shot her, and also killed four of his children.
The exact reason of the killings is still not known.
The authorities are waiting to hear the exact story from an injured teen, who is recovering from the injuries at the nearby hospital.
The teen is yet to be identified.
According to Riviera Beach police spokeswoman, Rose Ann Brown, ‘a police officer who was on duty was inspecting a vehicle 2 hours past midnight, when he heard simultaneous gun shots, emanating from the Rivera Beach locality’.
As Monday dawn crept in, Police had already put the area under siege, blocking any vehicles from entering the crime scene. The police also took enough precautions to shun off reporters away from the crime scene.
According to neighbours who reside in the Rivera Beach area, shooting in the neighbourhood is quite common, and no one takes too much notice of the gun shots.
