Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart
Headlines Tuesday, September 7th, 2010Former pro-wrestler Jim “the Anvil” Neidhart was arrested past weekend in Florida. Reported by Florida police information his charges were “possession and trafficking of a controlled substance and burglary,”.
This happened on Sunday at 3 pm while Neidhart was pumping gas along at the A.J. Food Market, 9806 Tom Folsom Road, Thonotosassa. Based on the police report, the 55-year-old wrestler started yelling and causing disturbance, so police were called for the scene.
Police upon arrival found oxycontin and methadone in his possession, these controlled substances didn’t have his name relating to the medicine. He was aggressive and stressed and officers watched him “ingesting multiple pills that he dropped on the pavement while in the trunk of his vehicle,”.
In regards to the burglary charges? Well, the prescriptions on those pills were under the name of friend Mary Cutillo. She reported a burglary in her home, so it appears that Neidhart broke into her home to steal the pills valued at $300.
The arrest report details two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of trafficking in illegal drugs, one count of burglary and one count of grand theft. Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart is currently held at Orient Road Jail. No bail continues to be set.
