Erica Blasberg had committed suicide and Doctor Thomas Hess was the first person who knew the truth, and in fact, was the only person who knew the truth for some days.
He was clever enough to hide a suicide note left by Erica, and some pills, which eventually led to Erica Blasberg’s death. He told investigators that he hid the suicide note in order to hide the truth of Erica Blasberg’s suicide from her family.

Erica Blasberg was a 25 year old female professional golfer, and some reports suggest that she was in an intimate relationship with Dr. Thomas Hess.
Dr. Thomas Hess was the first person to come across Erica, after her death, and the first thing he did was to hide the bedside pills and a suicide note left by Erica Blasberg, as he made a call to 911.
However, the Clark County Coroner’s office had submitted a media report saying that Erica‘s death was a suicide caused by high dose of prescription drugs.
Dr. Hess had told the investigators that Erica was completely inebriated on the day before her death, and he hurried to her house, to find her completely drunk.
He returned late at night only to find her dead, the day after.
After being arrested, Dr. Thomas Hess has been released on bail.
