Woods to compete at Quail Hollow Championship
Sports Sunday, April 18th, 2010LOS ANGELES: After a break of five-months Tiger Woods is returning to the game. The Quail Hollow Championship is going to be held on April 29 in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is the second PGA tour of Woods ever since after the break.
The humiliated American world number one is looking forward for a comeback to the sport after the cheap sex outrage. He got the fourth place in the US Masters a week back.
On Thursday in his official website Woods said “I’m excited about competing,” added to this he also said “It’s a wonderful venue, and they always have a great field.”
The US Masters took place at Augusta National Tiger Woods received a warm welcome by his fans. Because of his exposed double life he might experience the on-course heckling at Quail Hollow championship.
Tiger Woods, who added fame to himself by winning 14 major titles, took the break from his game since the end of last year to fix his marriage life with his wife Elin from Sweden following the disclosures about womanizing.
Woods won the Quail Hollow champion in 2007, will make use of this tournament to progress the US open going to held on June 17 which is the second major tournament of this year.
Early this week, he affirmed of his entry for US Open in Pebble Beach. US Open is going to take place in Pebble Beach after 2000, where he shocked his competitors by winning it in 15 strokes.

If Woods win the US Open championship, he can also be expected to participate in the May 6-9 Players Championship at the PGA Tour’s headquarters in Florida and the Jack Nicklaus-hosted Memorial tournament in Dublin, Ohio from June 3-6.
