In the fifth episode, the contestants are invited to visit the home of one of the most recognized publications in the world – The New York Times. The artists must rummage through bins of newspapers to find a headline that strikes a chord with them and are then challenged to create a piece of art that illustrates the story they selected. The winning artist will have their work hung in the New York Times building. Artist Adam McEwen, best known for his text paintings, serves as guest judge.

Why is it still socially acceptable to openly support and participate in weight discrimination and public bullying? I am 24, and since the age of 12 I’ve been considered overweight. It happened with puberty. Most of the women in my family are short and heavyset. Guess what? We have different bodies! We don’t all look like Barbie! And no, not all plus-size women eat entire pizzas by themselves. In fact many plus size people I know deal with eating disorders partly due to this shaming & insanity.
Sounds like this guy (and others calling her stupid names) are just jealous that she’s got skills and they’re just losers.
