While each and every period of the year holds a degree of significance for one group of the public or another, there is no time like right now to see professional bargain hunters emerging from the woodwork in their millions. With manufacturers determined to get a head start on holiday sales and retailers doing all they can to make up for a dismal 2011, Black Friday really does signal something of an open season where anything and anything can be snapped up for a bargain price – assuming you know when and where to look.
Of course, not everyone has the time or indeed the inclination to begin planning their attack for weeks in advance by scrutinizing every single retailer and deal likely to pop up, which for some can make the shopping experience a rather intimidating one where sharp elbows and iron-grit are a must. That being said, those willing to carry out just a minor amount of advance research can even at this late stage find the whereabouts of some truly epic bargain, so as to cut right through the rabble and make a beeline for the best deals.
For example, Best Buy are set to offer a Sharp 42 inch 1080p TV for $199.99, while an Asus Transformer can be picked up for as little as $249.99 or a Lenovo dual-core laptop for $179.99. Shoppers at Office Depot can expect to find a Toshiba Core i3 Laptop being offered for $399.99, while Wal-Mart is to offer a PlayStation 3 for $199.96. Sears is also getting well and truly into the mix, with a Samsung U55D6000 LED HDTV up for grabs at $1,099.99.
