Homeowners Refused HAMP Assistance by Bank of America Not Out of Options

Despite what citizens are told to be the very best efforts of the government and all involved in the matter, Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) continue to record increases in the number of homeowners who have been refused help through the HAMP initiative. However, for those finding themselves denied such assistance, it is essential to remember that HAMP is not the only option that may be available to avert what may appear to be inevitable foreclosure.
That being said, extensive and careful research is needed in advance, as qualification criteria vary extensively depending on the circumstances.
Bank of America and a number of other leading US financial institutions have reported clear, concise and dedicated efforts in the modification area of the business, but it would appear that both their own efforts and those of the government backed initiatives remain far from a perfect solution at present. The provision of in-house options certainly seems to be a sensible and accessible option when correctly implemented, though public awareness of such options remains comparatively low and must be addressed in order to prevent last minute rescue efforts proving too little too late.
As always, the advice across the board is to pre-empt the most serious issues before they have chance to become problematic and never under any circumstances take for granted that a loan modification application will be accepted. The lenders must continue to increase efforts to help borrowers, who must in turn realize that their options are quite extensive but never come with an iron-clad guarantee.
